Family  - Randy (Wal-Mart Distribution), Tyler 9th Grade, Tate 6th Grade

Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Houston and grew up in Earth Tx. I just traveled 20min. down the road where I met my husband, Randy. We decided to settle in Olton and raise our family here. It’s just something about small towns. I wouldn’t be anywhere else!!

Where did you attend college? South Plains Junior College-Graduated from Texas Tech University!! Go Raiders!

How long have you been teaching? 15 years

How long have you been teaching in Olton? 10 years

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching? As soon as I graduated, I started teaching.  While I was going to college, I worked at Wal-Mart in the pet section and as a cashier.

What are your hobbies? I love taking care of my family and animals.

What is your favorite way to relax? Curled up on the couch with a warm, fuzzy blanket while watching a good movie.

Is there anything else you would to tell us about yourself - I believe that parents, students, and teachers have to work together as a team.  I also believe that all children can achieve anything with a little work and a lot of patience no matter the background.
