What grade and subject do you teach?  I'm the Elementary PE Coach so I get the joy of having grades Kinder through 4th!!

Family - I'm the oldest of 3. I have one sister, Courtney age 22, and one brother, Garrett age 16. I am also engaged to be married to my wonderful fiancé, Marcus Bigott who is in his last year at seminary school in Iowa.  He will graduate in May and we will be married in June.  

Where were you born and where did you grow up?  I was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Bastrop, which is about 30 miles Southeast of Austin.

Where did you attend college?  I attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin Texas where I was a member of the Lady Bulldog Volleyball team for three years. 

How long have you been teaching? This is my third year teaching.
 

How long have you been teaching in Olton?  All three years of my teaching career.

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching?  I was a student at Texas Lutheran before I became a teacher.  But I did work at Blockbuster and Gruene Apple B&B in New Braunfels while in college.

What are your hobbies?  In my spare time I like reading, painting, and watching movies.

What is your favorite way to relax?  Getting lost in a really good book!
