Patricia Barnett

What grade and subject do you teach?  I teach 1st Grade.

Family -  I am married to Bart Barnett and have been for 28 years. We have 2 sons, Shane and Billy Barnett.

Where were you born and where did you grow up?  I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas. I have lived in the Olton area all my life, except for the 3 years I lived in Lubbock  when I went to college.

Where did you attend college? I attended college in Lubbock. I went to Texas Tech University.

How long have you been teaching? This is my 22nd year to teach school in the Public School System

How long have you been teaching in Olton? I have been teaching 22 years in Olton.

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching?  I taught 3 years at the Methodist Preschool with Lisa Neinast.  I have always been a teacher.

What are your hobbies? I like to read books, do needlepoint , play with my dogs and cook.

What is your favorite way to relax? I enjoy going to Santa Fe, New Mexico for a vacation.
