What grade and subject do you teach? Fifth grade Reading and Social Studies

Family - I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years. We are both proud graduates of Olton High School. We have three children. Blake is 23 and farms in Olton, Brittnee is 21 and lives in Lubbock and works at Anna’s and is also pursuing a degree in X-ray technology. Tanner is 16 and a junior in high school.

Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Canyon, and have lived in Amarillo, Panhandle, Kentucky, Kress and now Olton.

Where did you attend college? I attended W.T and then graduated from Texas Tech. Go Raiders!!!

How long have you been teaching? I taught private pre-school for 15 years while my children were young. Then I substituted for several years. This is my first year to teach in public school.

How long have you been teaching in Olton? Twenty years or so .

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching? Yes.

What are your hobbies? I love to read when I have time. Gardening, watching HGTV.

What is your favorite way to relax? Reading, watching t.v. Listening to music. Bubble baths
