What grade and subject do you teach? Kindergarten

Tell us about your family I have two great kids. Hunter is a senior at Texas Tech University. My daughter, Michelle, is a senior at Springlake-Earth High School.

Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Littlefield, TX. I grew up in Earth, TX.

Where did you attend college? I graduated from South Plains College with an Associates of Applied Science in Accounting. I transferred to Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education.

How long have you been teaching? I have been teaching 14 years.

How long have you been teaching in Olton? I have taught in Olton for 12 years.

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching? Originally, I wanted to be a flight attendant. I taught two years and then became a full-time mom. That was the best job ever!

What are your hobbies? I love to watch my kids excel in all of their activities. I like to scrapbook. I enjoy going to horse shows with my daughter.  Playing with dogs and cats is something that I enjoy also.

What is your favorite way to relax? I love to take two hour naps in the afternoon.
