Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself -My husband had a stroke 2 years ago & my job has been a life-saver. My job gives me the opportunity to spend time doing what I love-teaching kids to read. It’s been a challenge to be a care-giver. I have to find lots of time to care for my husband every morning before I come to work but once I’m up here, I forget about my home & focus on ways I can help my students in the classroom. I try to focus on ways to challenge all my students. I honestly can say I use parenting skills I used on my children and always look for different methods that might work. I love to teach and always pray for a better year and pray for each child in my class & hope they too will have an enjoyable, challenging year.
