What grade and subject do you teach?  I teach 4th grade, Math, Spelling, Editing, and Science.

Tell us about your family - I have a son, Sonny. He is currently stationed in Iraq. He has blessed me with two beautiful grandchildren. Kiara age 5 she is in Pre-K and Jose age 3. I also have a daughter, Celestina. She lives in Hart and she has blessed me with 3 beautiful grandchildren. Bobby age 11, Matthew age 9, and Daniela age 5.

Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Toppenish, Washington and raised in Plainview.

Where did you attend college? I went to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.

How long have you been teaching?  10 years

How long have you been teaching in Olton?  10 years

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching? I worked at Levi Strauss in Plainview and then as a nurses aid for Dr. Peralta.

What are your hobbies?  My hobbies are my grandkids. I get them in shifts. One bunch leaves and the other bunch arrives for their turn.

What is your favorite way to relax?  Watching my favorite soap operas, and walking with the grandkids.
