What grade and subject do you teach?  K-5^th Elementary P.E.

Tell us about your family My husband, Gary, is employed at Ray Lee Equipment here in Olton. We have three children,two boys and one girl. Derek graduated from Texas Tech in May 2009 and is a petroleum engineer working for El Paso Natural Resources in Houston, Texas. Evan is currently attending Texas Tech and is employed with Texas Tech Farms. Cambrie is a student here at H.P. Webb.

Where were you born and where did you grow up? Born in Plainview,TX - Grew up in Nazareth,TX

How long have you been teaching?  I was a substitute teacher for H.P. Webb for six years before I became a full time employee in 2001.

How long have you been teaching in Olton?  Nine years.

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching? Salesclerk at Cobbs Dept. Store, childcare provider, cashier at United Supermarket.

What are your hobbies?  Spending time with my family, relaxing in the mountains. 

What is your favorite way to relax?  Stay at home and do absolutely nothing.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself - I am blessed to work at H.P. Webb with such a caring and wonderful staff to help our students succeed.
