What grade and subject do you teach?  Life Skills (3 yrs. through 5th grade)


 

Tell us about your family - I am married to H.R. and we have 4 children.  Michael is 35 and married to Roberta.  They have 3 beautiful girls.  Kerri is married to Joe Mahan and they have 1 wonderful son and 1 beautiful daughter.  My grandkids are the joy of my life.  I can't imagine life with out them.  Cheri is married to Josh Kemp.  Of course, there is my precious daughter Sarah who still lives at home.


 

Where were you born and where did you grow up?  I was born in Richmond, Texas and grew up in Sweeny, Tx.

 

Where did you attend college? I went to Southwest Texas University in San Marcos and graduated from University of Houston. 

 

How long have you been teaching? I have taught 13 yrs. in public school and 14 yrs. in private school. 


 

How long have you been teaching in Olton? I started teaching in Olton in August of 1998.



 

Have you always been a teacher, if not what did you do before teaching?   All I know is teaching and being a mother.  I love them both.
 

What are your hobbies?  Reading, sewing, and crafts. 

 


What is your favorite way to relax?  There is nothing better than a good book.
