Schedule of Events
January 12, 2012
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Barns will be opened all day for entering livestock.
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Barrow weigh in & classify as they are unloaded, if exhibitor chooses.
4:00 p.m. – Begin weighing / entering livestock
6:00 p.m. - Weigh-in deadline.
January 13, 2012
8:00 a.m. - All animals must be in correct pens and places, and all rubbish cleaned up and animals groomed.
10:00 a.m. - Judging of Goats
11:30 a.m. - Grand Opening of Show
Introductions: Stock Show Directors, FFA, and 4-H Officers, Advisors, and Sweethearts.
12:00 Noon Judging of Barrows
January 14, 2012
9:00 a.m. – Judging of Heifers
9:30 a.m. - Judging of Steers
12:45 p.m. - Awards presentations.
- 2011 Show Dedication
1:00 p.m. - FFA & 4-H cake sale. Proceeds to benefit the
Olton FFA/4-H Livestock Project Center.
1:30 p.m. - Auction- Sale of Steers, Barrows, Lambs, & Goats.
